Coles Point

Text Box: The Coles Point Tavern is a weather beaten bar that has been in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, since 1953 when it was constructed on pilings over the Potomac River. It was built by a man by the name Loren Landman. The building is just steps across a pier from its Westmoreland, VA parking lot. The tavern can be accessed by boat or land. CPT is one of three surviving piers that sits along the Virginia shoreline.
CPT has numerous amenities for its customers. You can relax on our 120ft waterfront deck and enjoy the Potomac River and all its beauty or purchase a package good on the run. Not only do we have a friendly fun atmosphere, but we feature a lite bite menu, weekly lunch specials, dine in/ carryout, Maryland Lottery, boat docking, and a package store that is open on Sunday’s until 2am.
